*Description: *Cybervance is an equal opportunity employer that designs, develops, and manages the successful execution of training programs for government and private sector organizations. Cybervance believes in creating innovative solutions to deliver measured results. We are looking for a Technical Writer and Editor to support in the enterprise rollout of new security policies, processes, and procedures.
 
*Responsibilities: *Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
 
- Collaborates on a multi-functional team to identify informational and instructional materials that need to be developed
- Writes and edits all documentation needed to support the project, which may include step-by-step processes, technical guides, and best practices
- Reviews and edits training and communication materials to ensure effectiveness
 
*Qualifications: *
 
- Must be a US citizen and be able to receive a Moderate-Risk Public Trust Certification
- Bachelor’s degree with three years of professional experience as a technical writer and editor
- Specialized knowledge or professional experience in several of the following: breach response, incident response, FISMA and/or similar federal policies, business process workflow development and implementation
- Ability to translate technical concepts, practices, and policies into clear, succinct written communications
- Demonstrated excellence in written communications–clear, effective, and grammatically correct
- Must be an interested and motivated learner to achieve fluency in project subject matter, incorporating knowledge gained and insights into written communications
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe and Atlassian applications
